- Both the motor and JackShaft/driveshaft chainrings have rubber damping rings vulcanized onto the chainrings.
- This design means that the inside of the chain rests against the rubber dampers, which significantly reduces the friction of the chain roller in the chainring/pinion.
- The rubber rings also have the side effect of dampening the noise of the steel chainrings.
- The final gear ratio is the same as the original belt drive.
